St. Stephen’s Monastery, Meteora
Ancient Faith Radio presents a new podcast: Ancient Faith Documentaries. The most recent program is on the Holy Monastery of the Transfiguration in Ellwood City, PA; it is entitled Life at the Monastery. Needless to say, I loved it! It’s a theme close to my heart, and I was so inspired listening to both the sisters and the pilgrims share their perspective on the monastic life. I highly recommend it! You can hear it here.
I’m pleased that Ancient Faith is doing more on female monasticism. This is the second podcast I’ve come across specifically on the topic of women’s monasteries. The other one was on Molly Sabourin’s podcast, Close to Home, you can hear it here.
